Jon & Sadie Whitener

We founded Legacy Builders in 2017 in Templeton, CA, with a simple vision: to create a construction company that would make us and our family proud, and leave a lasting legacy for our three daughters- twin girls Blake and Elliott and Leah. When we first meets potential clients to assess their needs and determine if their project is a good fit, our goal is twofold: to introduce clients to Legacy Builders’ values and to ensure the project aligns with our company’s capabilities and standards. Every interaction builds the foundation of a strong client relationship. For us, trust is everything and this commitment to trust and transparency ensures that all of our client feels valued, contributing to Legacy’s hard earned reputation for exceptional service and long-term relationships. Evan Peterson, COO

Evan not only has a wealth of construction experience as a former project manager of a large developer, but he is also a realtor and a licensed general contractor. Evan manages projects with energy, knowledge and focus. Evan and his wife Dani have two sons and plenty of personal home projects keeping them busy in his off time.

Steven Chavez, Foreman

Steven is our go-to guy, and has hands on experience in every aspect of construction. If something's broke, Steven can fix it. Steven would like to eventually be able to get his contractor license and work along side of Legacy in the future. Steven and his wife Caitlyn have two young children Oliver and Magnolia are enjoying this new and busy chapter in their lives.

Ben Plaskett, Framing Foreman

Ben manages our growing production framing division and has years of experience as a framer himself as well as a project manager at a custom home builder. Ben’s wife Hannah is a nurse at Twin Cities Hospital and they have two small children. In their free time, they enjoy being outdoors, fishing and camping as well as spending time with their large extended families.
